Hyderabad, May 18, 2024: There is a wave of sadness in the television world as famous TV actor Chandu alias Chandrakanth has committed suicide. This incident happened just a few days after the sudden death of her close friend and co-star Pavitra Jayaram in a car accident. Chandrakant was found hanging from his house in Alkapur under Narasimha police station in Rangareddy district.
Chandrakant, who became famous with the serial ‘Trinetri,’ was found hanging in the house, which he used to share with the late Pavitra. Initial reports suggest that he was deeply saddened by the death of Pavitra Jayaram, with whom he had a very close relationship. Police were informed about this incident, and they have registered a case. They are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Chandrakant’s death.
Pavitra died in a car accident in Hyderabad on May 12. According to a report, a bus had collided with his car. ‘Trinayani’ serial actress Pavitra was going with her sister Apeksha, Chandrakant and driver Srikant.
It is said that Chandrakant was also present in the car in the accident, which took the life of Jairam. The grief of seeing the accident and losing his dear friend affected him greatly. In a recent interview, Chandrakant said that he and Pavitra Jayaram wanted to name their relationship marriage after the Bangalore trip, which can be gauged from their closeness.
Pavitra Jayaram was a well-known serial actress who had previously been married and lived separately. They have two children. Chandrakant has also left his family, which includes his wife and two children, after living with Pavitra for the last six years. Friends and fans of both the actors are shocked and saddened by the loss of two cheerful artists in such a short time.
On Thursday, Chandrakant shared a video of the late actress and wrote, “Nana… just wait for 2 days na..” This post went viral on Instagram, getting more than 11,000 likes. Many people were shocked to see this post and expressed grief over the death of two young, talented artists.
One Instagram user wrote, “Oh God. I ignored this caption that day. Now I am very shocked..” Another user wrote, “He had said everything in the caption, but no one paid attention. You also had to go with Pavitra; why did the children become orphans?
The police are still investigating the reasons behind Chandrakant’s sad decision. At the same time, the entertainment industry is mourning the demise of both Pavitra Jayaram and Chandrakant. Her death has sparked discussions about mental health and the pressure of being a public figure.
